CEDRIC is an academic computer science and communications laboratory. Some of our main research axes concern ambient intelligence, mobile, distributed and ubiquitous systems and applications, augmented reality, multimodal interaction, serious games and edutainment, qualitative and quantitative evaluation and user experience. The lab maintains and favours collaborations with artists, museums and CH institutions and encourages interdisciplinary collaborations within the domains of cultural engineering and intelligent cultural heritage applications. Within the ARtSense consortium CEDRIC assures the liaison in between technical partners and end-users (Cultural Heritage professionals), is responsible for the elicitation of the system requirements analysis, and assists in the process of the creation of interactive narratives and scriptwriting throughout the full life-circle of the project. CEDRIC will be also define the key-research questions and the evaluation protocols in order to assess the ARtSense user (visitor) experience.
